STEINWAY SOCIETY WRAPS UP STELLAR SEASON WITH 4TH ANNUAL WINNERS CONCERT

The Steinway Society of Riverside County will present the 4th annual winners concert showcasing the talents of up and coming new musicians on April 6, 2008 at 3:00p.m. The concert venue is the incredible new Indian Wells Theater on the campus of the California State University of San Bernardino located at 37-500 Cook Street in Palm Desert.

The Junior Competition category was held March 9, 2008 with the Senior Competition on March 16, 2008. These two full days of competition were hosted by the beautiful Steinway Gallery at Prosser Piano in Rancho Mirage. The judges for both competitions were Dr. Susan Svrcek and Dr. Jungwon Jin who are talented artists in their own right and perform in venues around the world.

"This particular competition is very unique in that there are three distinct components the students are judged on consisting of a Master Class, a recital, then followed by a private lesson with a world class master teacher. We are fortunate that the Steinway Society season will pinnacle with the brightest young artists throughout Riverside County," said Ruth Moir, Founder & President, Steinway Society of Riverside County.
