Another Opening, Another Show

The Palm Springs International Filmfest opened last night for its 15th season of award-winning film from around the world.

The festival will run until Sunday, June 29 at The Camelot Theatres screening 315 films selected from more than 2,500 worldwide entries, plus many special events and a chance to meet these talented filmmakers.

Opening night was devoted to comedies from the USA, France, Australia, Switzerland, and Germany. Six of the young filmmakers were in attendance and the audience was kept laughing. I had a ball and appreciate such fun entertainment.

The whole schedule of festival films is an interesting mix of subject matter and the programmers have done an outstanding job. Opening night was sold out, so you had better get your tickets right...
