Healthy Family Foundation Entertains with Chairman's Circle Event

Wine tasting and gourmet hors d'oeuvres to highlight evening

The Healthy Family Foundation will hold their annual Chairman's Circle Wine Tasting and Cellar Tour fundraiser at the Indian Wells home of founding chairman Bill Powers and his wife Anita on Wednesday, February 13th, at 5:30pm.

Chairman's Circle membership supports the programs and services of the organization, is $1,000 per couple, and is tax deductible. For this year's Valentines Day theme, Bill Powers will honor Healthy Family Foundation Donors with special recognition.

Wine connoisseur Dan Sullivan will share his expertise regarding the nuances of different wine courses, each of which will be followed by gourmet hors d'oeuvres chosen to compliment the specific wine. Mr. Powers will give tours of his wine cellar to those attending, sharing his extensive collection of vintage wines while a strolling violinist serenades party goers providing the perfect setting for the "Surprises for Your Sweetheart".

"We’re thrilled to host this event again this year," offers Bill Powers, long time desert philanthropist and community leader. "This annual gathering has grown through the years and has become a huge success. Guests raved about it. Due to the Valentine's Day theme, we have a very special surprise in store that should not to be missed."

Attendance is limited. Those interested may contact (760) 776-1600, ext . 115 for details and reservations.

"The generosity of Bill and Anita Powers for hosting this fabulous event is greatly appreciated," says Susan Francis, CEO of the Healthy Family Foundation, (HFF). "The many programs and services provided by HFF are integral to the health and survival of the underserved, needy families in our valley. The Powers set the standard for contributing to the community, and we are all the better for it."
