Lee Ritenour headlines Saturday It’s August and it’s time for the 15th Annual Jazz in the Pines, produced by the Associates of Idyllwild Arts Foundation. This is one of the coolest events in the area, literally cool high above the desert in the pine-scented mountain air, and doubly cool to get to hear the top jazz greats in the country in a picturesque outdoor amphitheatre shaded by swaying parachutes.
