Benefit for Desert Aids Project in Palm Springs, California โ Jungle Red, Dahling
By Kelly O'Connor
Honored with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Fame for their humanitarian prowess, the drag troupe Les Dames du Soleil wows audiences for another good cause, Desert Aids Project in Palm Springs, California, on Mother's Day, May 11.
"Jungle Red, Dahling," a reference and shade of nail polish from the Joan Crawford movie "The Women," is also the show title.
The "ladies" dazzle crowds with their elaborate costumes, choreography and fabulous lip-synching.
And remember, it's Lay-Dom Due So-lay.

Cocktails served at 6 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m.
Benefiting the Desert Aids Project, the event is at the Wyndham Hotel California Ballroom, 888 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs.
Preferred seating is $30, general, $20 and standing room, $20.
Call DAP for tickets and information, 323-2118, ext. 266, www.desertaidsproject.org.
